About this course

Know the Law.
Learn the Craft.
Draft with Skill.
Practise with Confidence.

Law college taught you what the law says. This course teaches you everything else that is needed to be a successful Advocate.

A junior advocate is judged on drafts long before anyone hears them argue. But drafting alone does not build a practice.

This course covers both.

Every document you will be asked to produce in your first years — bail application, private complaint, protest petition, quashing petition, discharge application, evidence affidavit, memorandum of criminal appeal, revision petition, habeas corpus petition — and the skills that surround them: handling clients, structuring an argument, researching fast. Everything you need to stop assisting and start building an independent legal practice.
